"But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander." ~ 1 Peter 3:15-16
Reinventing Jesus: What the Da Vinci Code and Other Novel Speculations Don't Tell You

Before anything else, allow me to recommend this book before I forgot to do so! I strongly recommend anyone (yes, anyone!) who is interested in how the Bible (along with the different translations and versions) we have in our hand today came about to its present day form. Though written by scholars, I can assure you that it's highly readable since the book is intended for the wider public, and very much enjoyable especially if you are interested in this area of studies called Textual Criticism. In fact, I can't help but exclaim that this is indeed a masterpiece, compared to others, which can further enhance our knowledge on the reliability of the Scripture. And thus better equipped believers to be more conversant in engaging non-believers (or perhaps the other way round!) on similar issues. May more of such books come to our shores!
