"But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander." ~ 1 Peter 3:15-16
Finally, FYP is getting into the last phase. But I can't believe that we spent five hours this afternoon to resolve some issues that we disagree on. And in the end, we still have to pull the tutor into the picture to resolve it. Nevertheless, the debative tone aside, it really showed that the group is thinking about the issues and participating. Though, it is my feel that at the end of the day, the issues still remain, just that we are able to "compromise" (each of us actually think that we are correct in out own rights and reasoning) and no one wish to disrupt the harmony state again. Anyway, the common objective is to get the work done and do away with.

But I learnt that sometimes we can be too narrow minded in interpreting certain things and totally missed the intention of the things are there in the first place. And this is parallel in interpretating the word of God, focus on the words too much that we missed the spirit of the letter. Much like the priests in the temple who missed the passing Jesus when He entered Jerusalem on a humble donkey, with all the people shouting and cheering...

Yes, Palm Sunday is around the corner. It is actually also the BB Dedication service and I am supposed to lead in the worship for the first and second service on that day itself. I guess it will be pretty much interesting to see the english speaking folks to sing in their half-past-six chinese as I will be torturing them with two chinese songs. Overall, the songs I chose are rather short and sweet, to make it easier for the BB boys to follow as well. Hope thing goes well!
