"But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander." ~ 1 Peter 3:15-16
Brought Xiao Juan back home to have a chat with my mum yesterday afternoon. Oh well, they seems to be able to click in my opinion. Hopefully they will be able to interact with one another more often and to build each other up in their faith. May God grant us this prayer, amen.

Went down with Xiao Juan in the later part of the day to MSI aka Medical Professional Services, another faith organization to meet up with an old lady who is also a staff worker of SNCF aka Singapore Nurses' Christian Fellowship. She is very much like my cell leader in her speech and action. Really like her a lot! Anyway, she asked Xiao Juan if she will be able to help out in planning a welcome tea for the new batch of nurses coming for studies in NYP, in this coming December. It is also a formal event to link up those student nurses to their respective mentors, with some sharing from the older batch of student nurses. Seems like we got some things on hand to busy with already...

My mum just told me that she saw a picture, or vision, this morning. It seems that the whole message of the vision was that she and Xiao Juan are to support me in my area of ministries... Wow, that was something big to swallow early in the morning. Nevertheless, I guess God didn't reveal that to her without a good reason, for she is contemplating leaving her present church to join me and Xiao Juan in our church.

Whatever it may be, as I looked back and that was what Xiao Juan shared with me yesterday, we seems to be involved in the same ministry from day one since Mission @ Backyard though we didn't know each other then... Ah, the Mission @ Backyard does bring back memories... It was supposedly to be an oversea trip to Thailand if not for the SARS. God is really indeed working behind everything. Whether it is how we met, the revival of chinese ministry in PPH or the ministry among the nursing students in NYP... Praise God for His wisdom, power and love!

I will end off with a quote from Xiao Juan:

“现在我终于知道那股无形的力量把我推向你的人是上帝,我们是为了成就他的目的才被眷选在一起的。” - 小娟
