"But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander." ~ 1 Peter 3:15-16
Cheers, my friend! Until you confessed that you have been reading my blog through an email, I didn't anticipate that you will be my subscriber. But that isn't much a surprise because you are a sly guy to begin with... =P

I would like to say a word of prayer for you here before you go,

"Dear Father, I just want to thank You for the life of this brother. We know that our paths didn't cross by sheer chance, but it is Your plan that we get to know each other. Indeed, thank You Lord, for the time we spent together in school or witnessing in Orchard Road. No matter how trivial that might be, I just want to thank You for letting me know this brother in my life. Even now, as he is going into the mission field in East Asia, I ask of Your protective hand upon him. May all the authorities that he is going to face, extend to him hospitality and favor by Your grace alone. At all times, lavish upon him Your love and let nothing stumble him by Your mercy. Strengthen him when his body is weak and anoint him when his spirit is humbled. Above all, open his ears that he may hear You speak to him every single breath, and open his mouth that he may speak words of life to the many people in need of it... Amen. "

And one passage for you from Jude,

"Dear friends, keep building on the foundation of your most holy faith, as the Holy Spirit helps you to pray. And keep in step with God's love, as you wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to show how kind he is by giving you eternal life. Be helpful to all who may have doubts. Rescue any who need to be saved, as you would rescue someone from a fire. Then with fear in your own hearts, have mercy on everyone who needs it. But hate even the clothes of those who have been made dirty by their filthy deeds. Offer praise to God our Savior because of our Lord Jesus Christ! Only God can keep you from falling and make you pure and joyful in his glorious presence. Before time began and now and forevermore, God is worthy of glory, honor, power, and authority. Amen. " ~ Jude 1:20-25 (CEV)
